That's right, zombies have officially invaded Crazyblondegal! I believe for trademark reasons this costume cannot be called Super Mario, but it's quite obvious to tell that's what it is - and I think the hat completes the outfit perfectly. Although I have plenty of "cute" Halloween costumes, I do equally love a good scary outfit!
This zombie plumber costume is both a long sleeved top and dress in one, of which I was very thankful for on the chilly night I took these photos! The pack includes a reasonably sized hat, and I also added some black tights with bloody cuts - because you can never have enough blood!
I had so much fun with this costume and makeup, and of course I just had to use a splash of blood to top the look off! The dress itself comes already blood stained, with a jagged trim to match the torn hat and sleeves. For makeup, I opted for quite a simple look. I did just my normal makeup plus some red and purple eyeshadow, and grey eyeshadow to contour. You don't need much to create a spooky vibe, and Smiffys have so many costumes available to choose from that you won't struggle to find something to suit your taste!
This plumber costume, courtesy of Smiffys, is a nice change of tone from some of the other costumes I already own, as I can really play on the gore aspect of Halloween. I admit, I am very much a sucker for buying "pretty" costumes for Halloween, but this one has definitely given me a few gruesome costume ideas. I'm pleased to say that this has become one of my favourite costumes now, as it's just so quick and easy to throw together - plus you can never go wrong with a hint of retro gaming!
Would you go gore for Halloween this year?
