When Beauty Crowd got in touch with me asking if I would like to review a few products from a new beauty range, I was delighted! This range in particular is brand new to their website, called Bell Cosmetics. All the products in the range are hypo-allergenic, and has been specifically designed as an affordable makeup option for those with sensitive skin. From mascara to BB cream, Bell Cosmetics have everything you could need and boasts good quality with sleek packaging.
The liquid eyeshadow base is an oil-free formula that extends the eyeshadow staying power, and highlights the depth of colour. It is super easy to apply with just a few dabs along the eye lid, providing perfect eye makeup for hours. Priced at £4.95, I’m very impressed with this product and it has already made its way into my ‘most used’ makeup bag! I usually have a huge problem with my eyeshadow creasing, but with this eyeshadow base that problem is now part of the past.
Out of all the products I was sent, this mascara really is top dog. At £4.95, it makes a visible difference and genuinely lengthens and defines my lashes, and paired with an eyelash curler you could conquer the world. The formula is slightly wetter than ones I usually wear, but for volume this is my new favourite mascara and it doesn’t even leave any clumps which is always a bonus.
BB powders aren’t something I’ve actually tried before, so I was very eager to give this one a go. It is a really light powder (so you could even use it as a setting powder), and mattifies the skin. The powder allows for redoing makeup in a fast and effective way during the day, restoring a fresh look of the skin. At a reasonable £5.95, this beautifully presented BB powder would be a refreshing addition to any makeup collection.
The matte & smooth makeup base, priced at £7.95, is a silky smooth formula that leaves skin looking smoother and brighter. It is suitable for all skin types, and you don’t need much product to cover the entire face. It does make skin matte, but in a very natural way which I was pleased about. I’m really impressed with this makeup base, and it is without a doubt a new found favourite of mine!
Ideally I would have been the shade below for this BB cream (£6.95) as 02 Natural is a little too dark for me, but the actual formula evened out my skin tone giving a light to medium coverage. I don’t often wear BB creams, but after trying this one I am more open to giving them a go this summer! The actual lid of this cream is like a nib, which means you also have full control over how much you squeeze out.
Bell Cosmetics are a Polish company that was founded over 30 years ago, and I love that they have tailored their products specifically to people with sensitive skin. I’m really impressed with these products, especially the makeup base and mascara, and taking into consideration of the price range and quality, this brand definitely one to look out for! Have you spotted them on Beauty Crowd yet?
