Lush | Secret Garden Bath Bomb

The Secret Garden bath bomb was released as part of the Mother's Day collection, however it was too pretty to resist buying. To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this one as it's quite small - but boy was I wrong!

This is one of those products for those looking for a floral scent, in particular that gorgeous natural rose scent. The beautiful fragrance comes from a blend of rose absolute, sweet wild orange and rosewood oils, giving a scent that’s floral but grounded with earthy tones. It smells very much like a freshly picked bunch of flowers which was very pleasant!

The best bit about this bath bomb? It fizzes slowly for such a long time! It was bobbing its way around every inch of the bath for at least 10 minutes. The green part of this bomb is partly made using bubble bar mix, creating a really bright green bath and lots of foam.

Once the bath bomb had fizzed further to the centre, a yellow foam starting forming and small flowers slowly detached themselves and lay gently on the surface of the water. This is just down to personal taste, but I wasn't really keen on the flowers and petals floating around - but that's just me!

Overall I'm really pleased with the Secret Garden bath bomb, and it also reminds me of the film itself! The vibrant green and pink shell is very easy to spot in a sea of bath bombs and bubbles bars, so it's definitely eye-catching. Priced at £2.95, you can be sure to get your money's worth.

  7. Aww that's so cute and really well priced too! Sometimes the bath bombs that are limited edition for Mother's Day/Easter/Christmas etc. are a bit more pricey but £2.95 is great. I still love using the FUN bars in the shower (and they're great for the bath too) but I think my all-time favourite has to be anything Rose Jam related, mm!

    1. I agree, a lot of the time the themed/limited products are ridiculously expensive so I was really chuffed with this one :) I have yet to try the FUN bars but I've heard good things! Thank-you for commenting :)
