University, Blogging And Meets

Hello my lovely readers! This post is basically a quick life update I guess, since I like to keep you in the loop of what's going on in my life. I'm currently coming up to the end of my first year at University studying Computer Information Systems, and I'm stressing out about the work to say the least. It's not that I can't do it, it's just that there's so much to do! This may also mean that the closer it gets to my deadlines, the less I might post, but I'll always do my best to have something new on here every week for you to read!

I have to say, the lack of money at University really does bring me down sometimes. It sucks because instead of going out regularly like a typical student or spending lots on clothes or makeup, I try to stay in and save my pennies (although I'm a sucker for takeaways!).

I do need to keep saving money though because I actually have four blogger meets this year which is insane! Two of those are where I live in Lincoln, and who'd have thought I'd ever go to one here in little old Lincoln?! Let alone two! I'm really excited for them, and can't wait to meet up with my blogger friends. I'm also in the midst of organising my own blogger meet for later in the year, all very hush hush for now so I'm afraid I can't reveal anything more at the time. But it'll definitely be a unique event for sure as I haven't seen one like what I'm planning before, so keep your eyes peeled for more details if you live around the Lincoln/Newark area!

Although I'm super stressed about my University work, I'm trying to stay positive and I'm finding the #chatMH Twitter chats (formally #timetotalkchat) on Thursday nights to be so helpful. I'm also very excited that nominations have now opened for the Company Style Blogger Awards 2014, and if you feel I am worthy enough of receiving an award or love reading my blog, it would mean the world to me if you voted me for Best International Blog - Newcomer (less than 1 year blogging). I've made it super easy for you so all you need to do is enter your details below, enter www.crazyblondegal.com for the blog URL and select the correct category.

Or you can nominate www.crazyblondegal.com here (www.company.co.uk).

I've already voted for my favourite bloggers, have you? I'm still in awe at how many lovely people I've met through blogging in just 8 months, and I couldn't be more thankful for it. Blogging has really helped me come out of my shell, talk about the things I want to talk about and meet incredible fellow bloggers. Before I get too soppy, I just wanted to say thank-you for putting up with my spiel basically!

  4. Good luck with your uni work :) I'm in my final year at university and the work just keeps on coming. I feel for you on the money situation too, I never realised how skint I would be as a uni student. Freebies are definitely a must :) xo

    1. Thank-you, hope you're keeping on top of your studies! :) I think if I was given enough money to cover accommodation so I can actually live my life, that would be good! Student Finance kind of failed on me for that one. But definitely, I'm always on the hunt for bargains, and the "10 Ways" Facebook page has been a lifesaver!
